Watch Zombie Taylor Swift Rise From the Dead in Her “Look What You Made Me Do” Music Video

Taylor Swift’s latest single, “Look What You Made Me Do”, has divided the planet, alienating critics and breaking sales records in the 72 hours of its public existence.

So, we fear what effect her video will have on the planet (and the guests of the MTV VMAs).

The just-released clip begins with a zombie Swift rising from the dead before being reborn in a bath of jewels, and then (deep breath) getting in a car crash, robbing a bank in a cat mask, addressing a convention of dominatrix-dressed plastics, imitating (questionably) Beyoncé and standing atop a tower of the old Taylors (who, you may have heard, are all dead).

Basically, there are a lot of looks going on in here.

There are also many, many snakes, and a final serve to Kim and Kanye, with one of the dead Taylors “getting receipts” and another asking to be “excluded from this narrative”. (At least the video has a better sense of humour than the song itself.)

Reputation, her sixth album, is out November 10, as if you needed a reminder.
