Khloé Kardashian Could Pay the Ultimate Fine for Uploading a Photo of Herself to Instagram

Copyright breaches are big game for those living in the land where suing is basically a sport. (The U.S., duh!)

Paparazzi company Xposure Photos U.K. will sue Khloé Kardashian to the tune of $US150,000 ($AUD200,776) for uploading one of their shots of her onto Instagram and cropping out their watermark.

According to People, the photo in question was of Khloé and one of her sisters “going for a meal at David Grutman’s Miami restaurant, Komodo.”

Khloé posted it the next day on Instagram, cropped, and without asking for permission. Bad move Khlo.

People got a hold of the court documents which explain why Xposure's deciding to take legal action.

“Kardashian’s Instagram post made the photograph immediately available to her nearly 67 million followers and others, consumers of entertainment news—and especially news and images of Kardashian herself, as evidenced by their status as followers of Kardashian—who would otherwise be interested in viewing licensed versions of the photograph in the magazines and newspapers that are plaintiff’s customers,” the documents read.

If their suit is successful, Khloé may have to pay $US150,000 in damages. Good thing the Kardashians aren't so materialistic anymore.
