How to Watch "Why Are You Like This" in Australia

You won't want to miss this comedy series.

We all know that being in your 20s can be pretty damn hard. Navigating modern life is anything but easy and it's something that we all go through. 

So, if you want to find some consolation by watching a bunch of hilarious characters confronting complex social issues, you'll want to watch Why Are You Like This. 

The show follows Penny (Naomi Higgins), Mia (Olivia Junkeer) and Austin (Wil King). The three 20-somethings are all attempting to find their way through the contemporary divisive socio-political hellscape of modern life (sounds like something we can relate to, tbh). 

Consisting of six episodes, the series was written by Higgins (Get Krackin'), Aunty Donna's Mark Bonnano and illustrator/lawyer Humyara Mahbub. 

So, how can I watch it? 

If Why Are You Like This sounds like a show you'll want to add to your must-see list, you'll be excited to know that it's set to premiere on 16 February on ABC TV Plus and ABC iview. 

From there, it'll also launch internationally on Netflix this year. We'll be sure to update you when we find out what date it'll land.

The series is produced by Sarah Freeman, who is also the producer of the Heartbreak High Netflix reboot. On top of that, the script producer is Niki Aken, who co-wrote the powerful and insightful SBS drama The Hunting. 

Why Are You Like This was originally part of the ABC & Screen Australia's Fresh Blood pilot series back in 2018, so you may have even been introduced to characters Mia and Penny before.

Either way, you should prepare for some utter chaos.
