The new six-part series, Aunty Donna’s Big Ol’ House Of Fun, is due to kick off on Wednesday 11 November and is set to be full of parody, satire, breakout musical numbers and clever wordplay.

Produced by Ed Helms (The Office), Mike Falbo (Corporate Animals) and Brett Harris (The Chew) for Pacific Electric Picture Company and Scott Aukerman (Between Two Ferns) and David Jargowsky (Bajillion Dollar Propertie$) for Comedy Bang! Bang!

Featuring cameo appeances by Weird Al Yankovic and Randy Feltface, the series is a chaotic adventure through the boys’ everyday lives.

The trio announced the series on their socials this morning with the caption “huge if true.”

“nov 11 on @netflixisajoke.”

If you’ve not heard of Aunty Donna before, (where have you been?) they’re a comedy group that started back in 2011. Their YouTube channel has since gained 316,000 subscibers and they have travelled all over the globe to perform in a bunch of comedy festivals.

The group also hosts a popular podcast, an album and multiple web series, and have been nominated for an ARIA award.

They’re pretty big tbh, even PlayStation Australia gave them a congrats.

The new series Big Ol’ House Of Fun is Netflix’s latest Australian original production after Tidelands and Lunatics. It’s taken over the spot for Clickbait that was in production in Melbourne when filming had to shut down due to the pandemic.

In the meantime, I think they’re keen for you to head to twitter and boost #AuntyDonna
