Here’s Your First Look at Will Smith as Genie In "Aladdin"

Some strong choices here.

Entertainment Weekly has dropped the first official glimpse of Will Smith as Genie in Guy Ritchie’s upcoming live-action remake of Aladdin for Disney.

And, it is a lot.

The eye is first drawn to the goatee, followed by the single floating earring and finally his ponytail, before you come to the most shocking realisation of all: he’s not blue?

Smith tried to allay concerns on Instagram by insisting he’s "gonna be BLUE" and will be "CGI most of the movie."

"This is how the Genie is in Human / Disguise Form," he added.
