Disney Has Gifted Us a First Look at the New "Aladdin"

We've got our first glimpse of Disney's Aladdin.

It's been a hot minute since Disney announced that the cast of Aladdin had been finalised after some controversy, but thankfully, a teaser has now been released.

The teaser unveils Agrabah, the desert cave where Genie's lamp is initially found, and it looks quite faithful to the original.

The remainder of the video is actually just beautiful scenery shots, which, while nice, don't really give us much of what to expect. In the final seconds, however, we see two main characters: Aladdin, played by Mena Massoud, and Genie's lamp, where Will Smith was presumably hiding.

While it certainly looks aesthetically on point, there's still no official word on what's going on with Abu. If he doesn't make an appearance, consider this Abu stan out (me).
