Will Smith's Genie In "Aladdin" Might Not Be So Nightmare-Inducing After All

The new Aladdin trailer makes Will Smith's Genie look kinda... amazing?

We have a confession to make; we might've jumped the gun when we declared that Will Smith's Genie from the upcoming live-action remake of Disney's Aladdin was disturbing. We're only human.

But in our defence, we think it was, in part, due to some odd footage choices for the initial one-minute teaser. After all, YouTube's dislike bar does not lie.

Thankfully, Disney has now released for the full trailer for Aladdin, including a sneak listen of their (great!) rendition of "A Whole New World", and it's looking like a real treat.

Can you really blame us for doubting Disney initially, though? The footage we saw of Genie in the teaser made him look strangely bloated and a freaky shade of blue. In the full trailer, we finally see the Genie we (and Will Smith) deserve.
