Here's How to Watch the New "What We Do In the Shadows" in Australia

Taika Waititi is back at the helm as director of the new series What We Do In the Shadows.

Many moons ago (at least 12), it was revealed that your favourite Kiwi, Taika Waititi, would be back in the directing chair for a television show based on his 2014 vamp comedy, What We Do In the Shadows.

While Waititi and Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement will not reprise their acting roles, their wit will return as a dream writing and directing combo.

Instead, new-old vampires Laszlo (Matt Berry), Nandor (Kayvan Novak) and Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), will be your sorta-friendly, sorta-murderous faves, alongside their human servant, Guillermo (Harvey Guillen). They're trying to take over a borough of New York but the trailer shows it's not working out so well.

There's even a new type of vampire, the energy vampire, who "either bore[s] you with a long conversation or we enrage you." Suspiciously, it sounds like a few people in your life.

Foxtel has confirmed with Student Edge that WWDITS will be coming to Australia on its service but the date is yet to be confirmed. (Update: The ten-episode series will stream on Foxtel and screen weekly on Fox Showcase from Tuesday 2 April at 5:30pm AWST.)
