Don't Scream: "A Quiet Place Part II" Has Been Delayed Until September 2021

It has been postponed yet again.
Countless movies have been delayed over the past year thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. While some films like Tenet and Mulan still managed to land in 2020, we're still patiently impatiently waiting for John Krasinksi's A Quiet Place Part II.
If you haven't got around to watching the first film yet (or you're too scared), let's get you up to speed.
A Quiet Place revolves around Lee Abbott (Krasinksi) and a Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) who struggle to survive and raise their children—portrayed by Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds—in a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by blind monsters with an acute sense of hearing.
Basically, if they make noise, they ded.
The film was initially supposed to begin its international rollout on 18 March 2020, but then COVID-19 happened.
In July last year, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Paramount had delayed the release date of A Quiet Place Part II from 4 September 2020 to 23 April 2021.
Now, the horror sequel has been postponed yet again. As reported by The Wrap, it's now scheduled to land in cinemas on 17 September.
Although, according to the Hoyts website, it looks like the movie will arrive on 9 September. On the other hand, Event Cinemas and Village Cinemas have their release dates listed as 22 April 2021.
So, we'll be sure to keep you updated as to when exactly it'll be released in Aussie cinemas.
Despite the delays, A Quiet Place Part II was screened for critics in March last year and received rave reviews (we're not surprised, tbh).
