Ariana Grande's Burn Book In "Thank U, Next" Is Sorta Savage

It's as savage as Ariana Grande can manage.
The cultural phenomenon that is Ariana Grande's "thank u, next" music video has been unleashed to the world and while it's full of early '00s film references, it's the nods at Ariana's real life that are getting the most attention.
Just like in the real Mean Girls, Ariana has her own Burn Book, aptly titled "THANK U, NEXT."
In it, she glues in photos of her exes along with some tongue-in-cheek comments
There's Big Sean, whom she dated somewhere between 2014 and 2015. She refers to him as "so cute" and "so sweet".

She also adds in brackets, "(could still get it)". Gasps.

Then there's Ricky Alvarez, the Argentinian football player, whom Ariana canoodled with between 2015 to 2016.
Despite Ariana's entries complimenting his dance moves and their good times, she sings "wrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh."

Friends forever. As Ariana might say "thank u, next."

And then, here comes Pete Davidson. The two shared a whirlwind romance that saw them go from 0 to 100, real quick.
But it all came crumbling down mid-October, right when the couple would've have been celebrating five months together.

Ariana writes she's "sorry" she "dipped." There's also the word "HUUUGE" at the bottom, which could mean anything. Raises eyebrows.

While Mac Miller, Ariana's ex-boyfriend between 2016 and 2018, gets a mention in the lyrics, he doesn't make an appearance in her Burn Book. Miller tragically passed away in September, which many have speculated lead to the demise of Ariana's relationship with Pete Davidson.
As for the video, well, we're already ready for the sequel.
