After Just Under a Month Together, Ariana Grande and SNL's Pete Davidson Are Engaged

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are now a Confirmed Thing.

Pequeño singer Ariana Grande and SNL star Pete Davidson have been a celebrity item for just a hot-minute, but there are already reports they're making their coupling permanent-ish with their engagement.

After semi-announcing they're casually dating on 31 May with a Harry Potter-themed couple costume, the reports of their relationships have become increasingly less casual.

So where did this month-long whirlwind romance all begin?

As some hawk-eyed fans pointed out, Davidson uploaded an image of himself sporting a new cloud tattoo on his finger just three weeks ago.

Super stans pointed out that the cloud was related to Ariana Grande, who frequently posts cloud emojis on social media.

By the end of May, Grande had shed herself of ex-boo Mac Miller and had to defend herself on social media after a Miller fan called out Grande for being heartless.

But since then, Grande and Davidson have been inseparable, with Grande even deciding to switch her 'gram to a Pete Davidson daily updates account.

Just yesterday though, at least two gossip rags had sources confirming that the two had chosen to plunge into a lifetime together.

Instead of confirming the engagement, however, Grande took to Twitter to tweet about Wicked the Musical and fans tried hard to decode the hidden messages.

There are reports that the ring Davidson bought for Grande cost him a cool $USD93,000 (about $AU120,000), which is a lot more than us mere plebians make in a year.

But at the end of the day, they're obviously smitten with each other, so all we can hope now is that their wedding is Gryffindor-themed. It makes sense.
