Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson Split Up Before We Even Give Them an Official Couple Name

It's been a bumpy ride but the Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson rollercoaster has finished for now.

For five months we endured the Ariana-Grande-Pete-Davidson tRu lUv journey but according to TMZ, that has now dried up (for now, at least).

According to the freakishly accurate gossip site, a ~source~ has told them that the pair split up over the weekend, acknowledging that now wasn't the right time for their once-blooming romance.

Back in May, the two went from "casually dating" to getting engaged in a matter of weeks after both had left long-time partners just weeks prior.

Since then, Ariana's ex-partner, rapper Mac Miller, tragically passed away after a suspected overdose, and she reportedly hasn't been coping well with the news.

Ariana's fans, collectively known as Arianators apparently, were a strange mix of dismay and relief at the couple's demise.

I suppose there's no point really discussing their proposed couple names at this point but because they're so contentious and strange, they need a mention.

While most fans seemed to settle on Grandson (Grande and Davidson. Creepy.), in strong contention was Pariana, Davande and Gravidson.

TMZ's source left things on an open-ended note by letting slip that Pariana (I'm sticking to this one) hasn't ruled out rekindling their flame again in the future.

But the main moral of the story here? Probably don't get matching tattoos with your new partner just weeks (maybe even days?) after you start dating. It's never a good sign.
