Adele Says "Hello" With Surprise Teaser For New Album

Adele, not happy to let Sam Smith steal all the glory with his upcoming (and not so good) Bond theme, has just teased the first track off her new album, 25.

During the UK’s version of The X Factor last night, a very subtle trailer for the album aired.

Something like the start of a lyric video, the solemn ballad is cut off thirty seconds in, lingering on the most painful tease of our generation: the cursed “still writing” ellipses!

There is no other news available on her follow-up to 2011’s 21, though Sia gave us a brief glimpse into Adele’s home life with her own recent single (written from Adele’s perspective), “Alive”.

Will Adele pull a Beyoncé and suddenly drop 25 on us without warning?
