Sam Smith's Sadsack "Spectre" Theme Song Has A Suitably Sadsack Video

The video for Sam Smith’s total bummer of a Bond song, “Writing’s On The Wall”, has been given a total bummer of a music video.

In the newly-released clip, Smith sings next to a row of coffins – sigh - and looks just generally distraught

Footage from Spectre is spliced throughout the nearly five-minute video, including scenes in which a forlorn Daniel Craig pashes on with Monica Bellucci and (almost) Lea Seydoux. It really doesn’t make sense that he’s so sad.

We also get to see actual writing on a wall when Smith sings the title lyric. Poetry!
