You Can Get Arrested for Vandalising Kim Kardashian’s “Selfie” Book, BTW

A Connecticut man is mad as hell at Kim Kardashian and not going to take it anymore.

According to investigative crime journal People, 74-year-old Carl Puia was arrested this week for allegedly vandalising six copies of Kim Kardashian’s photographic tome Selfish at his local Barnes & Noble.

The incident took place five months ago, and he was captured on security camera footage doing the deed. His preferred mode of vandalism? Pouring red liquid on the books. (We have to admit, that’s a new one.) He reportedly left a note at the scene of the crime “explaining his dislike of Ms. Kardashian and people like her.”

Police said in a statement that Puia turned himself in this week. (Wonder how he felt about them taking his mugshot?)

In their same statement, they also forlornly noted that “six copies of the books were destroyed in the massacre and could not be revived,” which feels like the wrong use of the words “massacre” and “revived”.

Puia was booked by police and released on a $US2,500 bond for alleged Criminal Mischief in the third degree.

Now, have a selfie.
