Wiz Khalifa Was Allegedly Arrested For Riding A Hoverboard Through An Airport

How can he not talk about hoverboards when hoverboards all that he got?

For many of us, hoverboards are simply a fabled form of transportation that we’ll only be able to use once Lexus can find a way make the global road-way magnetic.

Wiz Khalifa, however, is not the waiting kind.

According to the New York Times, the “See You Again” rapper was arrested at LAX over the weekend when he refused to disembark his “hoverboard” while moving through the terminal.

(It should be noted that while it’s called a “hoverboard”, the device actually balances on two wheels. A frictionless future still lies ahead.)

Footage of the arrest shared by Khalifa on Instagram shows three police officers asking Wiz to “stop resisting.” He responds calmly with, “I’m not resisting.”

Wiz later tweeted his further thoughts on the incident. “All because I didn’t want to ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids.”
