Will You Ever Be Emotionally Ready For PlayStation's VR "Star Wars: Battlefront - X-Wing" Game?

Your dream of actually living inside the Star Wars world is inching closer to reality. Virtual reality that is! (*High five for wordplay!*)

Electronic Arts dropped a teaser at E3 for the next version of Star Wars: Battlefront, subtitled X-Wing VR Mission, which is slated to debut as one of the first PlayStation VR titles. (Also in the works: Resident Evil VII; fully playable in VR from beginning to end.)

The title of X-Wing VR Mission pretty much tells you what you need to know, but in this short excerpt from a larger sizzle reel, you can see what it might be like to operate an X-Wing in a battle against the Empire.

PlayStation VR is set to drop in October, with X-Wing VR Mission to follow soon after. A full sequel to Battlefront will arrive in 2017. You can watch the full trailer for future Star Wars instalments below.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is plotting to release their own VR console late next year. This, right here, is the real war: VR gaming. Stare wars, if you will. (*Double high-five for wordplay!*)
