Would You Like A VR ‘Darth Vader’ Game? Well, You’re Getting One

Just let it in.
Star Wars Celebration went down in London over the weekend, where footage was shown from sideways-sequel Rogue One, impending young Han Solo, Alden Ehrenreich, was introduced to fans, and clips from some SW video games were teased.
One such clip was of a new virtual reality project from ILMxLAB division, which will explore the dark past of the heavy-helmeted Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Except, it’s not just a game, but a VR movie.
The… whatever you call it will be scripted by David S. Goyer (of pretty much all the recent Batman and Superman films). As Entertainment Weekly reminds us, he also penned Call of Duty: Black Ops.
"You are the visitor in this story that is happening in and around you, and to a certain extent you might even have some effect on [the narrative]," he said.
"You can pick up things, you can open things. You can push things, you can walk. You can touch characters."
It's one of a number of new Star Wars VR projects in the work, like the upcoming X-Wing VR Mission.
If you have a spare 10 hours, you can watch all the panels from Star Wars Celebration Day 2. Otherwise, jump to 7:56:00 below to see Goyer begin talking about the VR project. (The trailer for the VR game starts at 8:04:30.)
