PlayStation VR Is Coming To Take Over Your Life This October

You’ve been enjoying physical reality all your life - or have you? - but are you ready to try virtual reality on for size?
Sony officially unveiled the (rough) release date and pricing of PlayStation VR at a Games Developers Conference event in San Francisco today, The Australian reports. The gamechanger – pun! – will be released in Australia, Asia, New Zealand, Japan, North America and Europe this October. Local pricing is $AU549.95, which will include your virtual reality headset and accompanying cables but not, as Kotaku notes, the required PlayStation camera or the recommended ‘move’ controllers. So, all up, you might be looking at $AU650 to $AU700 for the enhanced experience of living inside your games, Tron-style. Here’s one guaranteed sensation PlayStation VR is certain to provide: the feeling of a lightened wallet. By the time of its release, there will be more than 50 virtual reality games available (and more on the horizon). Here are the specs of PlayStation VR, should they mean anything to you: Display: OLED Screen Side: 5.7” Resolution: 1920 x RGB x 1080 (960 x RGB x 1080 per eye) Refresh Rate: 120 Hz, 90Hz Sensors: 360 Degree Tracking / 9 LEDs Field of view: Approximately 100 degrees Latency: Less than 18ms Controller: DUALSHOCK 4 and PS Move You can now pre-order PlayStation VR. In the meantime, you’ll just have to make do with boring old regular physical interactions like eating, human touch, etc. Photo: Sony.Topics

Last year they said it would be released in the first half of 2016. Can't wait though.
yes can't wait
no money to waste
Not my life.
way too much money and looks annoying :/
So worth 550$. That's super cool.
Why would anyone waste so much money on PlayStations, when they could be using it for better things, like donating to charity during Easter, and making someone else's life that little better?
