When Is “The Beatles: Get Back” Coming Out in Australia?

Here’s how to watch Peter Jackson’s docuseries.

Fans of The Beatles, prepare yourself for the ultimate musical and cinematic experience ‘cos Peter Jackson—yes, the one who Directed Lord of the Rings—is pulling back the curtain on the world’s most famous band in his new docuseries The Beatles: Get Back.

With 57 hours of unseen footage restored to high definition, audiences will get to see John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison interact as they’ve never seen before.

When is The Beatles: Get Back coming out in Australia?

Initially, Get Back was going to be released in cinemas, but the sheer amount of footage available led Jackson to turn the project into a six-hour docuseries split into three sections (gosh that man loves a trilogy).

Part one of Get Back premieres on Disney+ on 25 November with parts two and three following on 26 November and 27 November in Australia.

What is The Beatles: Get Back about?

The docuseries follows the four band members in January 1969 as they attempt to write and record a new album in less than three weeks.

Jackson had 57 hours of unseen footage from an old documentary, Let It Be, to restore and use which will give audiences a behind-the-scenes look into the inner workings of the band.

Included in the series is George Harrison quitting the band, Yoko Ono infamously causing dissension among the members, and the decision-making process behind the famous rooftop concert, including showing the full 42-minute concert in its entirety for the first time ever.

Who are The Beatles?

Really? Do I have to actually answer that question? Fineeee.

In case you have been living under a rock, The Beatles are considered the greatest rock band on the planet. Coming out of Liverpool, England in the 1960s, these four young men changed the face of music forever.

With songs like “Here Comes the Sun”, “Yesterday”, “Hey Jude”, “Let It Be”, “Come Together” and so many more, the band cemented their name in history as the most creative and innovative musicians with Rolling Stones labelling them the greatest artists in history.
