When Is Disney Plus’ “Hawkeye” Coming Out in Australia?

Here’s everything you need to know.

The Disney+ train keeps on moving forward with Hawkeye soon to become the latest Marvel TV series to hit our screens this year.

Already in 2021, we’ve been blessed with a buffet of Marvel content including The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the fantastic WandaVision, a time-bending crime-caper in Loki, and most recently the new animated What If…? series.

They’ve all been brilliant in their own right, and we’re sure that Hawkeye will continue to keep the bar high for Disney and Marvel.

To make sure you’re prepped for its release, here’s everything you need to know about Disney+’s Hawkeye.

When is Hawkeye coming out?

The good news is you won’t need to wait long before Hawkeye drops around the world.

Disney have said that Episode 1 will premiere on 24 November this year on Disney+ and episodes after that will drop weekly.

There’s no official news on how many episodes there will be, but IMBD are claiming there will be eight in total.

To watch the new series, you’ll need to have a subscription to Disney+ which costs $11.99/month for Aussies.

What is Hawkeye about?

Here’s where details begin to get a little scarce.

Disney have remained tight-lipped on the plot of Hawkeye, but lead actor Jeremy Renner revealed that the series will revolve around Hawkeye’s time as the persona Ronin, as well as Hawkeye training his protégé Kate Bishop.

Throw in the subplot that Hawkeye is being hunted by Black Widow and we’ve got a damn good series to binge.

Who is starring in the new Hawkeye?

It just wouldn’t be a Marvel and Disney venture without an awesome all-star cast to boot, right?

Obviously, Jeremy Renner is resuming his role as Hawkeye/Clint Barton. The actor has been supreme in the role since it started and considering this might be his last dance as the master archer, expect a knockout performance.

Starring alongside Renner is Hailee Steinfeld. The Pitch Perfect actress has been cast as Kate Bishop, a young Hawkeye fan who Barton is training up to eventually take over the role of Hawkeye.

Rounding out the headliners is British actress Florence Pugh playing Black Widow/Yelena Belova. Expect Pugh’s character to be the main antagonist throughout the series as she hunts Barton for the part he played in the death of the first Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson).

Disney’s Hawkeye is will drop on Disney+ 24 November this year.
