Okay, We'll Bite: Here Are Our Thoughts On "Wednesday"

It’s safe to say the show has gone viral worldwide.

Tim Burton’s new Netflix TV show Wednesday has aired, and it is everywhere.

From Wednesday’s viral dance moves on the d-floor, to just how perfectly the actors portrayed the essence of their characters—no wonder this show is a hit.

While there are different reactions—some loved and some not so much—we thought it was only fair to make our own judgement.

Wednesday is a continuation of the original Addams Family movies. It’s stacked with a stellar cast, including Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie and even our beloved OG girl Christina Ricci.

In the series, we follow Wednesday as she navigates her new school Nevermore Academy and her new psychic ability, all while trying to find out who is the mystery killer in town.

We must admit, we adore the flow from original to modern day kookiness. It encapsulates all the Addams Family spookiness and chaotic energy we thrive off. Our only wish is that we could have seen more of our queen Morticia.

The writers must be commended as they brilliantly pull Wednesday’s dark and dreary comments together with wittiness and humour. Wednesday’s one liners are sure to make you cackle in your seat.

One thing is agreed upon across all viewers: Jenna Ortega was made for this role.
