Watch Lady Gaga's Full Performance From the Historic Super Bowl LI

So, they had another Super Bowl today, didya hear?

The New England Patriots triumphed over the Atlanta Falcons, coming back from a seemingly-insurmountable 21-point deficit.

Super Bowl LI became the first ever to go into overtime, after New England tied the score at 28. They went on to win by six points at the game’s (eventual) close, 34 – 28.

It secured formerly-suspended quarterback Tom Brady his fifth NFL championship, and saw an awkward encounter between him and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who handed out his four-game suspension in the wake of ‘Deflategate’. (Remember that?)

President Donald Trump, a friend of Brady’s, had reportedly abandoned a Super Bowl viewing party when it appeared all was lost for the Patriots. He made up for it on Twitter.

Many on Twitter were hoping to see Brady and his Patriots brought down by the Falcons (echoed by the hometown audience in attendance), mostly for political reasons.

extremely foolish of us to forget this was the 2016 NFL season

They had to make do with an energetic halftime performance by Lady Gaga, whose fitness, frankly, outmatched anyone else's on the field.

It began with her jumping off the roof of the NRG Stadium and concluded with her dropping the mic and diving to catch the pigskin. Oh, and she played a bunch of her hits in between, not to mention a pointed performance of "This Land Is Your Land", in the spirit of the numerous advertisements trolling Trump's 'Muslim ban' and proposed 'Mexican wall'.

Why read more words when you can just watch the whole thing go down?
