Watch Jay-Z Pay Tribute to Chester Bennington With Live Version of “Numb/Encore”

Trigger warning: This article discusses suicide.

Jay-Z has used his set at V Festival in the U.K. to pay tribute to late friend and collaborator, Chester Bennington.

At the concert, Jay asked, “Can you guys light it up tonight for Chester?” before tearing into “Numb/Encore”, the mash-up hit from his joint EP with Linkin Park, Collision Course.

“Please make some noise so he can hear you all the way in heaven tonight!”

Check out the performance below.

Bennington took his own life last month at the age of 41.
