Mitey Good: Vegemite Are Releasing An Official Cookbook

Lovers of Vegemite everywhere rejoice, because the iconic Aussie brand has announced they’ll be releasing an official Vegemite cookbook this year.

Vegemite turns 100 years old next year, and to celebrate the occasion they’ll be publishing over 40 recipes.

It might sound weird but hear us out. Some of these sound absolutely amazing.

It’s not just toast, but so much more.

Some of the recipes will include bolognese and brekky muffins, using vegemite in gravy, soup and salads and even using it for chocolate raspberry brownies.

Vegemite’s marketing manager Jacqui Roth was very excited about the idea.

“What better way to honour our nation's icon than by releasing the VEGEMITE Cookbook to celebrate the many ways to enjoy Vegemite?”

She said it’s a great way to celebrate a mitey good century.

“We're incredibly humbled that Australians have invited Vegemite into their homes since 1923.”

There have been some pretty wack Vegemite creations over the years.

Last year, a Pizzeria in New York made international news after he rolled out a Vegemite pizza, but by all accounts, it’s actually really good.

Love it or hate it, Vegemite now has a permanent place in the kitchen.

The Vegemite Cookbook can be preordered now, with an official release on November 1, 2022.
