Trisha Paytas Was Almost a Guest Star on "Euphoria" Season 2

Uh, yes please.

During the latest episode of the infamous and fast-growing YouTube podcast Frenemies, YouTube personality Trisha Paytas spilled some tea on a TV gig they almost landed earlier this year.

On Tuesday, Trisha told their co-star Ethan Klein that they were almost a guest star on the second season of the Emmy-winning series Euphoria.

"I was going to do a TV show, and I was kind of excited," Trisha said during the podcast.

"They reached out to me specifically. I didn't have to audition.

"It was for a plus-sized influencer. I was like, 'I'm the plus-sized influencer.'"

If you’ve got no idea who we’re on about, Trisha is one of YouTube’s OG influencers and pot stirrers.

Currently with 5.1 million subscribers on the platform, Trisha is most well known for their over the top personality, drama with other influencers and controversial videos and takes.

Despite their controversies in the past, over the last year or so Trisha has had somewhat of an online redemption arc and has picked up a whole new generation of fans on TikTok and from the Frenemies podcast.

The 33-year-old content creator said that after being contacted by the Euphoria team, they were asked to send back a self-tape video but following that, they never heard back and unfortunately missed out on the part.

My soul is crying.

While a Euphoria appearance from Trisha would have been just *chefs kiss*, it’s not the first time the social media star has played TV roles.

In fact, Trisha has made their mark on shows like Jane By Design, Modern Family, Celebrity Big Brother, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Despite the fact that fans will have to miss out on seeing Trisha grace their screens in the next season of Euphoria, it is good to know that Season 2 is officially on its way.

The Euphoria team had initially planned to film the second season in 2020 for a 2021 release, but due to interruptions from the coronavirus pandemic, production had to stop.

For now, it looks like we’re likely going to get Season 2 some time next year, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

If you somehow missed Season 1, you can catch up on all the juicy drama on BINGE.
