They're Aca-Back: Here's the Trailer for "Pitch Perfect 3" (Which Has More Explosions Than You'd Expect)

Karate. Skydiving. Characters jumping from an exploding boat in slow-motion. Yes, the Pitch Perfect saga returns with all the hallmarks of the franchise you've grown to love.

Okay, there's probably a lot of a capella in Pitch Perfect 3 as well, but you wouldn't know it from the trailer, which only features one bit of instrument-free singing (to P!nk's "Get the Party Started", no less).

But the teaser for the third and final film in the franchise at least proves the Bellas are back together for one final fling (something we doubted stars Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson were even interested in, when Pitch Perfect 2 came out).

And director Trish Sie (replacing Elizabeth Banks, who is busy helming Charlie's Angels, but at least returns to play her snarky commentator here) is certainly letting the Bellas go out with a bang.

Check out the (unexpectedly action-packed) trailer below.

Pitch Perfect 3 arrives in cinemas this Christmas.
