“Pitch Perfect 3” Is Coming Sooner Than You Think

Here is your reminder that Pitch Perfect 3 is indeed a thing and will be here before you know it.

Universal Pictures is so keen on giving you yet another sequel to their Pitch Perfect franchise, they’re moving the release date up by a full two weeks.

Yes, update your calendars. If you had already blocked out August 4 2017 in anticipation of a day spent watching and rewatching PP3, you’ll now need to flip back a page and circle July 21 – the flick’s new release date.

In fact, you may even need to cancel all plans for that entire month, given the recent trend of movies opening earlier in Australia than in the United States. This year, we’ve already gotten Bad Neighbours 2 and Captain America: Civil War one full week before the Yanks.

(In fact, the U.S. is only just getting The Lobster in cinemas this weekend, whereas it hit our shores a full seven months ago.)

Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the rest are all returning for Pitch Perfect 3, along with director Elizabeth Banks. Start your vocal exercises now.
