There’s a Chance “The Office”, “30 Rock” and "The West Wing" Might Be Coming Back

It seems like the latest trend for television is to revive all our old favourites and I'm totally fine with that.

In the last few years, The X-Files (after 14 years), Twin Peaks (after 26 years) and Arrested Development (after seven years) have all been revived from the dead, but now you can potentially add 30 Rock and The Office to the mix, which, comparatively, are pretty recent.

It comes after NBC's Entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt told Deadline he's been speaking to the creators of naughties' classics like ER and The West Wing as well as the aforementioned titles for a return.

It seems The Office's revival is the most likely at this stage, with Greenblatt saying he's been in contact with the show's creators and they are open to the idea. "It's always, 'Maybe some day but not now'," he told Deadline.

As for 30 Rock, Tina Fey has allegedly told Greenblatt, "I don't know, maybe." ER and The West Wing are also on the 'no plans, but a possibility' scale. We're just hoping Greenblatt and the shows' creators are just acting a bit coy to get the hype juices flowing.

The talk of shows getting revived has hit the news as of late due to the return of popular NBC sitcom Will & Grace, which, despite not yet premiering, has already been renewed for another season.

Until these renewals all become official, I'll just keep whipping out my dusty DVDs to relive the magic.
