The Rest of “Rick and Morty” Season 4 Will Air in May (But When Will It Come to Australia?)

Oh, and there’s a new trailer.
Earlier this week, we were blessed with a 5-minute Rick and Morty mini episode to keep us entertained for a while. Even though the anime-style short was appreciated, stans only really wanted one thing: the rest of Season 4.
They even started requesting it politely from Adult Swim.
Debuting in the US on 10 November 2019, the first five episodes of S4 arrived on Australian Netflix on 22 December, after they’d all aired in America. Since then, we’ve been patiently impatiently waiting for the remaining five eps of the season to roll out.
Considering we’re spending more time at home than ever while practicing social distancing and self-isolating, now would be the perfect time for the rest of the episodes to be released.

Well, it looks like Adult Swim heard our prayers, because they’ve announced that the second batch of five episodes will arrive in the US on 3 May 2020.
They made the announcement as part of their April Fool’s day programming and also released a new trailer. Set to Thin Lizzys "Boys Are Back in Town", it looks like we can expect the rest of S4 to be all types of chaotic.
However, it’s likely that Aussies will have to wait for the episodes to air in the US before they land on local Netflix. If the first half of S4 is anything to go by, that means the new eps might not land down under until June.
We’ve reached out to Netflix Australia for confirmation, so we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
Until then, you know what to sing.
