The Plot Has Thickened: Simon the Bunny Died at the Airport, Not During United Flight

Reports have come through that Simon the giant bunny (who we thought died on a United flight) was actually alive upon landing.
Yesterday, reports indicated the nearly-metre long bun had died in cargo mid-flight.
That has changed today, with The Guardian revealing that Simon died after he had been transported to United’s PetCare facility, a holding place for travelling pets.
Le horror!
The incident has sparked the #justiceforsimon tag on Twitter, with many outraged by the airline’s failure to keep a potential world-record breaking bunny rabbit alive.
(NB: The below picture features Simon's owner, Annette Edwards, holding Simon's dad, Darius, the record-holder for world's biggest rabbit. What a family.)
@united can get away with kicking us off planes, and taking away yoga pants but they cannot get away with murdering Simon. #justiceforsimon pic.twitter.com/8UvUqqGD5z

Edwards told The Sun she wants the corpse returned so she can have it investigated.
"Where is his body?," she asked. "I can't get any answers. I want compensation. If I can get his body back I'll have a vet examine him to get answers."
More bun-news as it develops.
