The "Charmed" Reboot Trailer Is Out and It's Got the Internet Divided

2018's Power of Three is causing a rift in the Charmed fandom.

Earlier this year, it was announced that your fave show about witches, Charmed (no, not Sabrina the Teenage Witch), was about to get a 2018 makeover.

But, this time, it wouldn't follow the adventures of the Halliwell sisters and their dramatic encounters with demons of the underworld. Instead, it would feature a new storyline with three new sisters from more culturally and socially diverse backgrounds.

The announcement of new actors and a diverging storyline led to a lot of the original Charmed actors, and their army of devout stans, to unleash their unfiltered thoughts on social media.

But, now, the trailer has finally arrived so us mere fence-sitters can objectively determine whether or not the reboot will also have a place in our hearts for eternity also.

Unsurprisingly, the reaction is very mixed and there are some serious opinions going around on social media. Strap yourselves in.

The acting and dialogue in that #Charmed trailer is beyond cringe. That thing will not last.

Just watched the Charmed reboot trailer and... idk how to feel. First thoughts, I hope some of the acting and special effects improve as the series progresses.

The actual release date hasn't been announced yet but it's likely to debut in Australia's spring. We've just got to hope that Foxtel or Netflix fast tracks its release to our shores too.
