OMG: Streets Have Released Froot Loop and Crunchy Nut Golden Gaytime Flavours

The ultimate ice cream has had an upgrade.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth and you’re looking for a new fix, then look no further.

We just discovered that Streets have been releasing ridiculous new Golden Gaytime products right under our noses, and they’re starting to hit supermarkets.

The latest flavours: Crunchy Nut and Froot Loop. Oml.

Before you rush down to Coles or Woolies to pick up a box of each, let’s break down exactly how this got past our radar and what you can expect.

Starting out with the Crunchy Nut ice cream, it looks like it was first spotted by supermarket know-it-all: The Grocery Geek, and has taken over the internet since.

We don’t have an exact description from any lucky duck that’s had a taste test, but from the packaging, it looks like the bar compiles of a layer of vanilla ice cream, then a layer of honeycomb flavoured ice cream, that is covered in a thin layer of chocolate and crushed Crunchy Nut cereal. Drool.

It’s now available in Coles stores across the country and you can pick up a four-pack for $6, so it’s not gonna break your bank, but they’re not exactly cheap either.

‘Cos that apparently wasn’t enough, just last week, Streets also sneakily dropped their Froot Loops flavoured Gaytime bar.

Instagram foodie Nick Vavitis got his hands on one, and according to him the ice cream tastes just like cereal milk (which is high key the best bit of cereal) but it’s not a sweetness overload, which is v good news.

Looking at the pics he shared, it also appears to be covered in a thin layer of milk chocolate and then crushed Froot Loops cereal, which is a 10/10 every day.

Vavitis claimed to have picked up his bar from a 7-Eleven store, so I’d check there first if you’re in a rush to get your hands on one, but they should start appearing in local supermarkets soon.
