Snakes On A Plane Actually Happened, In Real Life

A real-life, actual snake was found aboard a plane in Mexico just casually chilling, hanging from the cabin ceiling.
No, this isn't some far-fetched joke about the 2006 movie Snakes On A Plane.
This actually happened.
Time magazine reports passengers on a commercial flight in Mexico spotted a snake slithering along the wall behind an overhead luggage department. It dropped down into the cabin and dangled from the plane's ceiling.
According to Aeromexico, the flight was issued a priority landing in Mexico City where trained professionals "secured the reptile".

One passenger posted footage to social media showing the serpent, in all of its terrifying glory. The Washington Post reports the snake appeared to be a venomous green viper, but this hasn't been confirmed.
Here's the video. Obviously, if you have a snake-phobia, you should probably avoid watching it.

The airline is currently investigating how the snake ended up inside the plane to begin with. "The procedures carried out for this flight are currently being evaluated to determine how the animal entered the cabin and measures have been taken to avoid such incidents in the future,” Aeromexico said.
You'd hope so...
(Maybe the snake was trying to sneak its way into first-class?)

It'd almost be a crime to not include this clip of Samuel L. Jackson, let's be real.
Language warning, folks!
All jokes aside, this is totally not a laughing matter. Thankfully, a potential crisis was avoided.

That seems like a good theme for a horror movie, how freaky!
Oh my gosh! I would have freaked if this happened to me, very scary and the health and wellbeing standards?! Wow
