Should We Be Worried About “Fortnite” Loot Llamas Showing Up in the Real World?

Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?

If you’re starting to see some fun Fortnite stuff in real-life, don’t worry, you’re not going mad from playing the game too much. (Well, maybe you are…)

The game’s infamous loot Llamas have been spotted outside the digital confines of the video game realm, popping up in London, Cologne, Barcelona and Warsaw.

Those with a basic understanding of geography will recognise that all four of those locations are in Europe and not Australia. However, a 'Durr Burger' was also spotted in California, suggesting Epic Games are up to something global ahead of the impending launch of 'Season 5' on 12 July. But will their promotional efforts make it Down Under?

This is Agent #3678 who was spotted by me and also @ItsJosshA and @DUSupra at the Durr Burger Site in California. We asked questions and he answered with questions back, what could he be up to? #Fortnite pic.twitter.com/qIOt4w6lnQ

Rumours suggest the next season of Fortnite will involve time travel to some capacity, but why this is resulting in European llama drops is still a mystery.

More will likely be clarified on Thursday. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for giant crabs in your town.
