Save the Date: "Black Panther" Reviews Are Calling It a "Cultural Phenomenon"

Black Panther's premiere just took the hype to another level.
We already know that 2018 is being set up as a huge year for blockbusters, but after the Hollywood premiere for upcoming Marvel film, Black Panther, was held overnight, you can add another one of those to your "must-watch" list.
The premiere saw the cast and dress as royalty from various African nations, setting the scene for a huge night.
Black Panther sees the king of African nation Wakanda, T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), having to fight against enemies who threaten to cause a new world war. It's an important addition to the Marvel movie series as Black Panther, the first black superhero to feature in mainstream comics, will now be the first Marvel film with a primarily black cast.
And deservedly, it's looking to be one of the best films of 2018 already.
Ryan coogler got a standing ovation before it even started! It was electric. Review embargo lifts 10 days before #blackpanther opens which usually means they know reviews will be good. pic.twitter.com/pAPai1fhky

So you know how #ThorRagnorok was called the best reviewed Marvel movie to date -- yeah, doesn't hold a candle to #BlackPanther. The movie has heart, well-developed characters and the emotional depth to keep you invested in all of the characters. And Michael B. Jordan, wow.

#BlackPanther kicks so much ass. The King hits hard with his fists but harder with his words. Perfect counter programming to today's world. Wakanda Forever!

You can catch Black Panther in Australian cinemas on 15 February.
