PSA: Taylor Swift Just Dropped Her New Recording of "Love Story"

It's the first track from the re-recorded Fearless album.

Whether you're a fan of Taylor Swift or not, we can all agree on one thing: she is one very productive person.

During last year's lockdown, the singer released not one but two new albums, Folklore and Evermore (which included some of her best work yet).

However, Taylor hasn't taken a break after that mammoth effort. Instead, she has focused her attention towards re-recording her past albums.

For those who need a quick recap, the singer promised to re-record her old records after Scooter Braun purchased her old label Big Machine, along with the masters of her entire back catalogue prior to Lover.

So, instead of patiently waiting for Taylor to create some mindblowing new bangers, we've been waiting for... old bops?

Well, last night the singer took to social media to announce that her new version of Fearless (Taylor's Version) is complete and will arrive on 9 April.

It'll also include "6 never before released songs from the vault", so at least there are some new tracks on the way after all.

Fearless is Taylor's sophomore album—released in 2008—and includes tunes like "Love Story", "Fifteen", "White Horse", "You Belong With Me" and "Hey Stephen".

Like that update isn't enough to get Swifties excited, the artist has also dropped the re-recording of "Love Story" (what a nice Valentine's Day surprise).

"This process has been more fulfilling and emotional than I could've imagined and has made me even more determined to re-record all of my music," Swift told her followers.

The re-recording is pretty similar to the original version, with Taylor's vocals sounding even more mature and whimsical.

Take a listen below if you haven't heard it yet.

Swifties have taken to Twitter to express how satisfied they are with the re-recording.

I was 13 & madly in love when I first heard Taylor Swift's Love Story.

Im turning 25 in a few weeks—older, definitely a lot wiser—but hearing her song once again, more than a decade later, is still so magical.

I feel young and in love all over again. #LoveStoryTaylorsVersion
