Politicians Are Starting to Crackdown on Scummy Scalpers (Just in Time for Migos' Australian Tour)

Scalpers have long been heralded as literal human hyenas, but finally, there is a push to shut down scalping operations.
Shadow Minister for the Arts, Tony Burke, has been edging for a heavier stance on scalping by the government.
"The problem is not getting better, it's getting worse,” Burke said in a statement.
He also pointed out, as News.com.au reported, that tickets for a charity concert, which is raising funds for Olivia Newton-John’s Cancer and Wellness Centre, are being resold for exorbitant prices.
"Tickets are being sold through the site for the inflated priced of up to $450 (RRP $160). This is a new low," Burke explained.
In the statement, he pledged that he would introduce a Private Members motion to the House of Representatives, which is the equivalent of a light nudge, but hey, we’ve got to start somewhere.
The push comes just in time for the announcement of Migos' Australian tour. Rain drop. Drop top. Burke gonna bring down the scalping plot.
Just last month, Frontier Touring, the promoters also behind Harry Styles' tour, announced that they would be taking on some pretty serious anti-scalping measures.
You can spot scalpers by their little red horns and devilish smirk.
