Despite a tough loss for North Melbourne on Sunday, North fans have something to be happy about.

Cooper, the son of AFL all-time games record holder Brent ‘Boomer’ Harvey, debuted for the Roos and was welcomed in a big way.

His first game was highlighted by a fourth-quarter goal that gave the Shinboner spirit something to be proud of.

4. Powell-Pepper launches it long.

Sam Powell-Pepper continues to impress.

The Port Adelaide forward has had some pretty incredible goals this season, and Saturday night’s barrel was no exception.

Late in the third quarter, Powell-Pepper wheeled up from 60 metres out, launching it long through the goals.

3. The luck of the Irish 🍀

Zach Tuohy broke a big record on Sunday.

With his 265^th game, Tuohy broke the record for most AFL games by an Irish-born player, overtaking the late great Jim Stynes.

The Geelong premiership player shared some touching moments with his family and Jim Stynes’ family to celebrate the occasion.

2. Rozee dribbles it through.

If you’re a Port Adelaide fan, you’ve got a lot to be happy about right now.

Not only is there the Powell-Pepper goal, there’s also Connor Rozee’s goal of the year-contender from Saturday night.

Nonchalantly, Rozee kicks it from an impossible angle, easily dribbling it through the posts.

1. Pendlebury makes history.

After Friday night, Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury might just be the GOAT.

With his 14^th disposal of the night, Pendlebury overtook Robert Harvey to take the record of most disposals in AFL history, with a staggering 9657 disposals over his 374 games.

The Collingwood faithful got around Pendles in a big way, and he was awarded the match ball.
