Nickelodeon's Dedicating a Streaming Service to Feed Your Nineties Nostalgia

Live life like it's 1999 all over again.

Any kid born in the early nineties will probably talk fondly of their good ol' days; the days when it was acceptable (and fun) to wake up at 6.30am to watch Cheez TV or ABC kids shows.

Well, if this was you, you'll be pleased to know Nickelodeon will be dedicating a channel on VRV, a streaming service, to all your childhood faves for a pretty reasonable $US5.99.

Some of the classics heading to NickSplat (which is what the service is called) include Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, CatDog, Rocket Power and Kenan & Kel.

The problem with it all? VRV isn't technically available in Australia (but there are always ways.)

Update [29/08]: Student Edge has asked Nickelodeon Australia whether we will be getting a slice of the vintage pie too and they've told us that there are no plans to release the same channel in Australia. You can watch some of these shows, such as Rugrats, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocko's Modern Life and Hey Arnold!, on the Nick Play app.
