Netflix’s “Tiger King” Joe Exotic Is in Coronavirus Isolation

He's been transferred to hospital.
We’ve known no one is completely safe from coronavirus for some time now. After all, even precious Tom Hanks caught it and had to self-isolate in Queensland.
Now, Tiger King’s Joe Exotic (aka Joseph Maldonado-Passage) is the latest person to add to that list, despite being in prison.

The former Oklahoma zookeeper is currently serving a 22-year sentence for falsifying wildlife records, violating the Endangered Species Act and for a murder-for-hire scheme targeting his arch-nemesis Carole Baskin.
His husband, Dillon Passage, told US entertainment reporter Andy Cohen that Joe he was placed in isolation after inmates at his jail tested positive for COVID-19. Inmate records show that Joe has now been moved to the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
"We speak like three to five times every day, but since he’s been moved to this new facility, they are putting him on a COVID-19 isolation because of the previous jail he was at, there were cases," Dillon said.

Although Dillon never stated that Joe had contracted the virus himself, The Mirror reported earlier today that he has tested positive and has been transferred to hospital.
There are a growing number of coronavirus cases among incarcerated people. According to BBC, dozens of inmates and at least 37 guards have tested positive so far.
