From survey to content creation 🤳

Hey! I’m Abbey, a 20-year-old student who’s part of the Student Edge Content Creator Network. I’ve been a part of the network creating content for Student Edge and their partner brands since 2023.

As someone who’s always loved creating content, being a part of the Content Creator Network has been such a fun and rewarding experience.

Let me tell you all about it.

How I joined the Creator Network.

I first learnt about the creator network through a survey I was taking on Student Edge in 2023.

 

Student Edge had just announced they were creating a network of content creators and wanted to get expressions of interest.

As someone who was already creating content, it instantly caught my eye.

I applied to be a part of the network straight away, had a successful interview, and before I knew it, I was pitching myself to content briefs for all sorts of brands.

What is it like?

Honestly, being part of the Creator Network has been such a fun and rewarding experience.

Each brief comes with clear info about the brand, campaign objectives, and what the client is after, which makes it way easier to brainstorm creative concepts, focus on scripting, and bring my ideas to life.

The network is super organised, and the team are so supportive throughout the process.

I get to pick and choose what briefs I’m interested in, so it’s super flexible.

Since joining, I’ve also noticed a big boost in my confidence on camera, and that definitely comes through in my videos.

And of course, getting paid to create content for brands is a pretty sweet bonus too.

What brands have you been able to work with?

Through Student Edge’s Content Creator Network, I’ve been able to work with DoorDash on multiple occasions, as well as brands like Dove and Betty’s Burgers.

I’ve also had the opportunity to create content for Student Edge and their social media pages.
