Michael Fassbender And His Wigs Take Center Stage In Thrilling "Steve Jobs" Trailer

“Musicians play their instruments. I play the orchestra.”
It’s been an interesting week for Apple, having publicly kowtowed to the demands of Taylor Swift, rolled out their streaming service Apple Music, and faced criticism for an iTunes update bug that scrambles libraries.
It culminates with the release of this trailer for Steve Jobs, director Danny Boyle and writer Aaron Sorkin’s long-in-the-works picture based on the life of the Apple godhead.
Starring Michael Fassbender and a series of wigs as Jobs, the flick is set backstage at three different Apple product launches at which he presented. (However, from the looks of the trailer, there’ll be a fair bit of flash-backery too.)
Seth Rogen, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels and Australia’s own Sarah Snook co-star in the feature, which looks as propulsive as Boyle’s previous works, and will likely be as quotable as Sorkin’s non-Newsroom related projects.
We’re excited. It arrives in US cinemas this October, with an Australian release to follow.
