Bug Alert: Apple's Latest iTunes Update Reportedly Scrambling Libraries

Someone call Taylor Swift: Apple users are reporting a bug that scrambles artists, albums and tracks in their iTunes account.
Whether or not this is linked to yesterday’s launch of new streaming service Apple Music is not known. In fact, Apple has not publicly acknowledged the problem at all.
However, disgruntled victims have taken to Twitter, forums and Apple support threads to discuss the issue.
The scrambling occurred for the journo at Mashable after he updated to the new iTunes 12.2 and was prompted to enable the iCloud Music Library.
After the iCloud Music Library was enabled, iTunes randomised the majority of his library, scattering tracks across different albums, changing album art and listing individual artists up to seven or eight times.
Should this happen to you, fear not.
iTunes copies your old library before jumping to the iCloud Music Library. So, next time you launch iTunes, hold the alt key and your original library will appear. (Then again, some users reported their iTunes media folder being scrambled too, so the old library might have trouble pulling up the music from its original locations.)
Perhaps your best bet will be to use the Time Machine function on your computer and return to a simpler, less scrambled iTunes era.
In the meantime, maybe hold off on the iTunes update until Apple gives further instruction.
