Welp: Macca’s Just Got Rid of All Day Breakfast and My Heart Can’t Take It

Your girl needs her cheeky midnight brekkie.

Today we bring you some devastating news: our dearly beloved Macca’s all-day brekkie has been taken from us, before its time.

That’s right, Macca’s have completely ditched their all hours of the night brekkie menu from Wednesday 20 October, much to many disappointed customers.

“From Wednesday, 20 October, our breakfast menu will be available until midday in restaurants and 10.30 am via McDelivery, to better meet the needs of customers during other peak times,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.

“By adjusting our all-day breakfast schedule we hope to reduce the amount of time our customers may need to wait for other items during the afternoon and evening rush.

Say goodbye to your late-night Hot Cakes and 2 am breakfast McMuffin, they’re gone during daylight hours for good.

While this is absolutely horrific news, there is a silver lining: all-day hash browns are here to stay. Thank heck for that.

“Fan favourites, hash browns, will still be available to order all day,” Macca’s said.

“While we understand a number of customers will be disappointed, our breakfast menu will continue to be available in restaurant until midday every day and via McDelivery until 10.30 am."

So, from here on out, brekkie will be available from 10:30 am via McDelivery and 12:00 pm in stores.

I’m sorry, idk about you but when I wake up feeling like Macca’s on a Saturday morning, it’s well past 10:30 am.

Although the news is sad enough, I just can’t believe the burger joint tried to do it under our noses. It’s taken us a solid week to notice. Why has no one been trying to get their midnight brekkie from Macca’s all week?

We’re just keeping our fingers crossed that Macca’s one day have the sense to bring all-day brekkie back to us. She will be missed.
