Macca’s and Peter Alexander Have Collabed to Release a Groovy Pyjama Range

Any excuse to snack in bed.

Attention all late night snackers: Macca’s and Peter Alexander have just released your dream PJs.

That’s right, Australia’s fave burger bois McDonald’s, and cosiest pyjama mates Peter Alexander have teamed up to bring us a limited-edition Macca’s PJ range that gives off all the best '70s vibes.

The new collection features some old Macca’s mascot favourites including Grimace, Birdie and our best bud, the Hamburglar.

As you may have guessed, the new sets are being released in celebration of Macca’s 50th anniversary and as we have already seen, they’re pulling out all the stops.

Marketing Manager of McDonald’s Australia Amanda Nakad announced the fun nightwear range, describing it as nostalgic.

“We are so excited to partner with Peter Alexander to launch our very own range of limited-edition Macca’s pyjamas,” Nakad said.

“Ronald, Grimace, Birdie and the Hamburglar are a huge part of our history and we love the sense of nostalgia and fun they bring to making this collection so uniquely Macca’s.

“We can’t wait to see our customers sporting their iconic PJ’s and joining us in celebration of 50 years in Australia.”

Mr Peter Alexander also touched on the new collection’s theme.

“We’ve brought to life the iconic McDonaldland characters, the retro feel of the 1970s and our signature sleepwear style in a collection that is sure to bring back memories of childhood treats, late night Macca’s runs and that Big Mac feeling,” he said.

So, get ready to throwback to your childhood birthday parties, ‘cos this range has got the goods.

The collection features 10 new designs for teens and adults, and they’re available both online and in-store until stock sells out.

Also, as you might expect with Peter Alexander, the range is kind of expenny, but if you’re good at saving those dollars (or asking your ‘rents for Chrissy presents) you might be in luck.
