“Little Women” Fans Have Spotted Drink Bottles in the Background of a Scene

The internet is shook.

It goes without saying that we expect Hollywood blockbusters to have flawless editing. However, it’s important to remember that the people responsible for post-production are only human, and they are capable of making mistakes from time to time.

We saw a prime example of that last year, when internet investigators noticed a rogue Starbucks coffee cup in front of Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.

Now, another shocking on-set blunder that editors didn’t pick up on has been discovered in Greta Gerwig’s Little Women.

Behold: the drink bottles behind Timothée Chalamet. More specifically, a hydro flask and a plastic water bottle.

Unless they had hydro flasks in the 1860s, we’re not too sure what it’s doing there.

TikTok user @madelynrancourt was the first to spot the gaffe, drawing attention to it in a video she posted. It’s not entirely clear when Madelyn uploaded the video, but it only went viral this week.

do you think the cast knows the water bottles made it into the film? ##littlewomen ##waterbottles ##fyp ##xyzbca

Others just used it to make memes.

It looks like the actors themselves never noticed the presence of the hydro flask and plastic water bottle, considering Soairse Ronan, Timothée and Laura Dern discussed the scene for a Vanity Fair interview alongside Gerwig.
