Katy Perry Got Stuck Mid-Air During an Awkward Concert Mishap and Just Watch It Already

Katy Perry is not having the best year.

Her tepidly-received album Witness has practically disappeared from the charts. She opened up her home for a very emotional livestream. Her video for "Swish Swish" became the laughing stock of the internet.

And now there’s the whole 'getting accidentally stuck mid-air during a concert and having to vamp awkwardly for the audience beneath her'.

During a performance in Nashville last night, Perry got stuck on a floating planet high up in the rafters.

"You better pick your phone up because this is a YouTube moment," she joked, before lamenting, "I’m gonna be stuck here forever."

Eventually, the planet was lowered into the literal audience, inspiring Perry to good-naturedly cap the incident by jumping into the crowd.
