Kanye West to Bob Dylan: You Up (For a Collaboration)?

Don't think Twice, Bob.

It's been a little while since we reported on the latest from Kanye West's Twitter account (for good reason), but a recent Tweet could not be ignored.

Amid the past week's barrage of context-free pictures from a botanic garden in Miami, West decided to take the opportunity to ask legendary folk singer and Nobel Prize-winner Bob Dylan for a cheeky collaboration.

Calling out to Bob Dylan Let’s get together

The fact he asked on a medium Bob Dylan isn't even on (as far as we know), without actually tagging anyone or suggesting any particular action beyond "Let's get together" is very Kanye.

But in fairness, this exact approached worked just fine for Ye when it came to Justin Roiland, the maker of Rick and Morty.

When Ye paired up with another icon of yesteryear, Paul McCartney, he basically just had him whistle along and play guitar. So, what would a Kanye/Bob Dylan collabo even sound like?

It might sound.

A little something.

Like this.

All that said, West is one of the great talents of the 21st century (despite recent, erm, events), and a deserving recent Grammy nominee for Producer of the Year. So, we look forward to hearing Dylan on Yandhi.
