Johnny Depp Almost Gives Australia A Serve While Mocking ‘Dog Smuggling’ Apology Vid

Did we mean nothing to him?

Johnny Depp has mocked his recent, super sincere apology to Australia while promoting Alice Through The Looking Glass in England.

Speaking to a gaggle of reporters, Depp begged their forgiveness for not smuggling pups Pistol and Boo into the U.K.

“It would have been a bad thing to do.”

He then toyed with the prospect of giving our nation a serve.

“Because the Australians, though chipper, are kind of…” he began, before trailing off.

Aussie Mia Wasikowska, his Alice co-star, sat there silently, perhaps fearing retribution from Barnaby Joyce upon her return home.

Instead, old friend (and ATTLG producer) Tim Burton piped up to offer Depp some sad news.

“I forgot to tell you. They’re dead. I just sat on them.”

I don’t think we’ll ever fully grasp how weird this moment in Australian history truly was.

Once more, with no feeling.
